Original Made in Apo 3d Hack

Update of original:

I removed some of the grain, made the colors more sharp, and gave the lines some crispness using Gimp.

Nura,
hello i think i liked the original better,w/ the extra sharpness came a flat look, perhaps that's what you wanted but the first one gives the impression of depth, almost like a crystal sphere setting in a textured brass bowel, i don't know much but i would run it through noise ninja w/ the softness turned up pretty high, but that's just me.
much respect,
Foo

Thanks very much for the kind critique, I always welcome helpful feedback! :handshake:

I agree that the newer version looks flat, and decided early on that the older pic HAD to stay because of its raw softness and depth. I do, however, prefer the coloring of this one :D

What is the noise ninja, may I ask? Is it in Gimp? I may look into it and experiment!
